MISSION

To represent and protect interests of members :

• within the Union Maritime et Fluviale (UMF), MGI company, etc…

• towards the government corporations and the local communitiesPAM, CCIMP, UP 13, Conseil Régional, Euroméditerranée, ...),

• towards the national et international level by way of TLF, CLECAT et FIATA.

To promot and develop the role of the forwarding agents of Marseilles.

To assist in the settlement of projects aiming to improve activities within the Marseilles-Fos Harbour area.

ORGANISATION

Under the Extended Board supervision, the Association follows up the day-to-day developments of current files relating to harbour community, Customs, Community computing system, social matters, promotion, communication and training.

SUCCESSFULL EXEMPLES

 Harbour Community : Improvement of links and relationships between the various professionals.

 Customs : Successful negotiations with the Customs to optimize the customs formalities in Marseilles-Fos.

 Community computing system : Support in conceiving and developing the future harbour computing system.

 Social : Collecting and dispatching Curriculum vitae.

 Promotion : Taking part in the harbour events to promote the Port of Marseilles by way of Marseille-Europort, in France and foreign countries.

 Communication : Setting up events to make known the AOTM’s activities and forwarding agent’s role.

 Formation :

• Basic / Initial training
Involvement in the selection of topics in syllabus, recruiting and taking part of board of examiners (ETL (AFT/IFTIM), ITIP (PAM) and CCIMP).

• In-service training
o Involvement in the study about the harbour firms’ needs in training in future prospects.
o Settlement of a training on customs’ regulations and procedures.
